Successful away day

TRURO City brought home all three points from Dartford courtesy of an excellent 2-1 victory.

We took an early lead when Andy Watkins seized upon a poor back-pass to tap home.

We were gifted another goal shortly afterwards when home defender, Paul Goodacre sliced the ball past his own ‘keeper.

The second half saw the home side come into it more and after Joe Broad had been given a straight red card, they managed to reduce the arrears.

However, City rolled their sleeves up to ensure that the points came back to Cornwall on what was a successful away day.
