A late Andy Watkins goal secured a vital 3 points against Staines Town at Treyew Road on Saturday, 28th January.
The first half was a quiet affair with neither team creating much in the way of chances, but that set it up nicely for an exciting second half.
Staines took the lead when Mark Nwokeji capitalised on a defensive mix-up in the 66th minute.
This seemed to kick City into gear and in the 74th minute Arran Pugh rose highest to flick onto Andy Watkins from a Les Afful cross, and Watkins finished smartly from close range.
City kept pressing and found a winner deep into the second half when a Danny Carne cross was flicked on by Scott Palmer and Andy Watkins was on target to volley home from 12 yards to give City the win.
