GROUND LATEST

FURTHER meetings have taken place between representatives of Helical Bar and Truro City this week in respect of Treyew Road.

A number of options were discussed which included the land currently earmarked for the Stadium for Cornwall along with the possibility of the Football Club ground-sharing from next season whilst a new facility was being put into place.

Truro City Chairman, Peter Masters, said: “Given what has happened prior to both Philip and I arrival at the club on 19th December 2012 much has been done to secure the Club’s very existence and that of its status within the Blue Square Conference League, however, there is still a long way to go both on and off-the-field.

"It is important from the Clubs perspective, particularly its first-team, to agree the future of the playing facility before the end of the season  to enable us to implement our five-year plan to play Conference Premier League football within the City.”
